Use AxiomBlue for a scoped client engagement before comparing alternatives

  1. Create the process-review quote in AxiomBlue with deliverables, inputs, included workshop and review boundary. Convert acceptance into the job and, on Professional, organise project tickets for the deliverable.
  2. Record delivery time on the job and keep a missing client decision in the description or project ticket. Preview the extra workshop’s schedule without treating the new appointment as scope approval.
  3. Record the accepted additional workshop as a Professional variation. Inspect the fixed-fee claim and previous invoice value, keeping internal hours separate from the charge. Test the finance contact and export on the plan being considered.

Use an engagement with deliverables and client dependencies

Illustrative test: a fixed-fee process review includes two workshops and a report. Record who supplies the source material and who accepts the output. Check the relationship between proposal, job and project records. An opportunity marked won is not proof that the agreement or delivery prerequisites are complete.

Test time and scope as different measures

Record delivery, internal review and an additional client request. Inspect which entries are billable under the agreement and which are business costs. Approve a third workshop as a scope change before billing it. Time recorded against a fixed-fee engagement is not automatically extra revenue.

Check permissions and specialist fit

Ask a delivery team member to find the current brief and a client-facing document. Review sharing and exports with sample data. Confirm any professional practice, trust accounting, confidentiality or regulatory workflow separately. General job management can support scoped delivery without replacing every specialist professional system.

Price the roles and required plan, then check the handover

Ask each shortlisted vendor for the plan and total cost for your actual office and field users, workload, billing interval and devices. Include tax basis, optional messaging, payment charges, training and exports. Keep a written result for each test: worked, needs a manual step, or unavailable. A feature-list tick is not a completed test.

AxiomBlue’s Free plan supports one user within usage limits and has no uploads. Basic adds uploads; Professional adds crew skills and leave, recurring job series, variations and project tools. Check the current pricing page for the team total. Try a required Professional process in the demo and confirm access before choosing a plan.

Common questions

Questions about this process

Can job management replace every professional practice system?

That depends on the profession and required processes. Test scoped delivery, time and billing, then verify specialist regulatory, accounting and information-handling requirements separately.
